Journalist and the author of a controversial book The President’s Keepers, Jacques Pauw, says its seems there are various police investigations against him.

Pauw says about three weeks ago he received a call that Colonel Reuben Govender was trying to get a warrant for his arrest but was turned away by a magistrate in Pietermaritzburg.

About a week ago he received a letter from Govender saying they should meet him in Durban between Wednesday and Thursday.

We have been very corporative. We don't know what the charges are, he hasn't said to us who the complainant is and we don't know why we must report to Govender, so we are just in the dark.

Pauw says his legal team is currently looking at their options and trying to speak to Govender to find out what is going on or what the charges are.

There are speculations that former finance minister Pravin Gordhan could be Pauw's source but he has rubbished the allegations and denied this, saying Gordhan had nothing to do with the book.

He also says he is not intimidated by Tom Moyane who is believed to want to sue Pauw.

Let Tom Moyane come, we will keep him in court for a week and expose all his lies and crimes...
