Standard Bank calls for Ramaphosa to urgently deal with corruption

Standard Bank has urged the newly elected ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa to be tough on corruption.

Joint-CEO at Standard Bank, Sim Tshabalala says the bank hopes that the leadership of the ANC will do what is necessary in terms of this country's laws.

What the country really needs in the long term is to sort out the education system, improve the numeracy and the literacy of our children, improve the TVET so that we are ready for the forth industrial revolution.

Sim Tshabalala, Joint-CEO at Standard Bank

Address the scourge of corruption both in the public and private sector, address the consumer and business lack of confidence, address the structures of the state owned entreprises and act with urgency on all of these matters.
