You can now snooze your boring friends away on Facebook

We all have those friends on Facebook who post too much or overshare on Facebook, well the social networking site might have a solution for you.

Kyle Venktess says Facebook has a snooze button which lets you snooze that person’s post.

It’s a temporary measure and it can let you snooze your friends for 30 days.

The Facebook ‘snooze’ function lets you secretly silence boring friends or annoying pages.

The snooze button could deter people from permanently unfollowing, unliking or unfriending things on Facebook while still giving them control over what they see.

To Snooze someone, tap the drop-down arrow in the top right of someone’s post. Now instead of just an unfollow option, there’s “Unfollow or Snooze.”
