Duffy says that if you look at the technology now, it makes it convenient for consumers to purchase products and services from home.

With those benefits come new risks to manage, and cybercrime is obviously one of them.

Public Wi-Fi is not secure, it’s an open communication channel which means that anybody can gain access to it says Duffy.

One of the problems we’ve got – there’s been a lot of awareness about corporate cybercrime but I don’t think there’s been enough awareness of consumer cybercrime.
