Opinion: We need accountability followed by action says 702's Ray White

702 host Ray White says while there is a degree of admission from political leaders that more needs to be done to resolve issues of service delivery and crime, this needs to be followed by action.

He reflects on the past week's headlines and interviews.

There seems to be new green shoots of, believe it or not, accountability.

Ray White, 702 show host

On the Breakfast Show over the past few weeks, I have spoken to a number of news-makers. Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi agreed the country's hospitals aren't coping, Prasa's spokesperson yesterday Sipho Sithole agreed that there is a policing problem and control problem at Metrorail stations.

Ray White, 702 show host

At least the first steps have been taken, this of course needs to be followed by action and resolution.
