11-year-old Abriella Bredell swimming from Robben Island for charity

CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies spoke to 11-year-old Abriella Bredell who will be swimming from Robben Island to Blouberg on Friday in order to raise funds for The Red Cross Children's Hospital.

Bredell, speaking to Kieno just before her swim, says she is very excited and looking forward to a 7.6 km swim.

I am super excited and I keep on asking my dad when is the sun coming out and why there is so much mist.

Bredell will start swimming from 8 am and hopes to reach the shores of Blouberg Beach by about 11 am on Friday.
