Anoj Singh resigns ahead of Eskom inquiry appearance

Eskom CFO Anoj Singh has resigned ahead of his appearance at the Eskom Inquiry. Singh was on suspension prior to his resignation. This follows ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa statement that all those who are under question or facing charges had to step down.

Former acting Eskom CEO Matshela Koko is also one of the big names in the corruption allegations at Eskom. Eskom spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe says that they have not heard any thing from Koko's lawyers as yet, but this is understandable as he prepares for his appearance at the Eskom Inquiry.

With Singh gone and Koko facing the inquiry tomorrow, Phasiwe says there is a call for information on anyone who may be involved with the corruption at Eskom.

The two officials mentioned in the statement issued by the presidency was Mr Koko and Mr Singh. But the statement further goes on to say if anyone internally and outside Eskom, know of other people who may have done other things - people should come forward with those names, so the matter can be investigated.
