[LISTEN] Big Concerts bringing Cartoon Network Live show to SA

Cartoon Network Live is coming to South Africa for the first time over the winter school holidays. Big Concerts has announced that the live show will feature Cartoon Networks most popular heroes.

CFO at Big Concerts, Justin Van Wyk, talks about the cartoon characters that will make their way to South Africa, and what fans can expect at the show.

We’re going to see Ben 10, The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, and the Powerpuff Girls amongst some of the others.

Van Wyk says that Cartoon Network is hugely popular in South Africa. He adds that during winter this year, going to the show is going to be the ‘it thing’ for boys and girls aged 6- 12.

The show has been produced with award-winning directors and choreographer says Van Wyk, and adds that it’s going to be a live narration about the world of Cartoon Network.

Van Wyk says that the show is going to take place in Cape Town from 26 June, and from the 3 July at Monte Casino.

People can get their tickets from Computicket, they are quite affordable at R175 – R390.
