Capetonians water use dropped below 500 million litres a day over weekend!

According to Mayco member for water Xanthea Limberg, Cape Town's water usage dropped to below 500 million litres over the weekend.

On Saturday consumption was sitting at 490 million litres for the day and on Sunday it dropped even further to 480 million litres, she says.

This is very encouraging to see that people are working together with the City. It appears that low levels of consumption are being adhered to.
