'The President has never been in touch with the country'

President Jacob Zuma broke his silence on Wednesday afternoon after the ANC told him that he has to resign or face a motion of no confidence in Parliament on Thursday.

Political analyst Lukhona Mnguni says that President Zuma has never been in touch with the country. He says 'Zuma is unable to hear and understand the call by many' that he should vacant the office of the Presidency.

Mnguni says that analysts have been warning the African National Congress to stop using the notion of two centres of power. He say that this removes the country from the reality it is facing.
