'It's very good that the Guptas are being hunted down" - Lord Peter Hain

Lord Peter Hain, British politician, author and activist has been out spoken about corruption in South Africa, particularity when it comes to Zuma.

The actions that are being taken against Zuma now, as well as the Hawks raid on various properties, including the Gupta family's compound in Saxonwold is encouraging, even if it is too late.

I am encouraged that at last they are starting to hunt down these people. Because they have stolen billions

When it comes to the prospect of a new government and presidency, Hain says it is vital to work work with civil society groups that have fought hard to expose corruption.

I think it’s really important now, that there is the prospect of a new government and a new president. That those in power work with civil society groups who have have been fearless in exposing this.
