The Chamber of Mines have notified the courts that they have agreed with the Department of Mineral Resources regarding postponing the Mining Charter court bid.
Speaking to Bongani Bingwa, Tebello Chabana, from the Chamber of Mines says trust between them and the department is being restored by President Ramaphosa's negotiations request.

President Ramaphosa announced that he will be holding discussions on the Mining Charter and resolving the impasse between government and the industry. Ramaphosa has reached an agreement with the Chamber of Mines, the National Union of Mineworkers and Solidarity to suspend the court application to review the charter.
