Where in the world is Ajay Gupta?

While a reward amounting to more than R1.5 million have been offered by fraud investigator Paul O'Sullivan and Sygnia CEO Magda Wierzycka to trace Ajay Gupta, there have been conflicting reports about his whereabouts.

Gupta is wanted in connection with the fraud and money laundering investigation related to the Estina dairy farm project in the Free State.

Eyewitness News reporter Gia Nicolaides says Gupta's location is anyone's guess at the moment.

The Times of India has reported that he was last week attending a wedding, but his whereabouts this week are not known.

Then we look a little bit further back, and there were sightings of Ajay at the optimum coal mine in Mpumalanga. That was on Tuesday the 6th of February. There were also indications that he left the country for Dubai earlier this month.

The police minister has also said that they have looked in these places as well as China if I am not mistaken.
