President Cyril Ramaphosa took to the streets of Cape Town for his morning walk on Tuesday, accompanied by dozens of local residents.
On Monday he had encouraged the public to join him for his daily stroll, in what's being viewed as a very shrewd PR move.
EWN's Kevin Brandt was among those accompanying the President as he walked from Gugulethu Sports Complex to Athlone.
Along the way, the President interacted with a number of people who approached him for selfies. The President also walked up to them and opened up conversation and basically stated that this is the way that all South Africans should start their day.— Kevin Brandt, EWN reporter

Ramaphosa is expected to respond to a debate on his State of the Nation Address in the National Assembly on Tuesday, but he has yet to make any comment on a reshuffle of his cabinet.
He highlighted that he's got a specific plan for government, but he jokingly brushed aside any talks of a looming cabinet reshuffle.— Kevin Brandt, EWN reporter
The walk comes just days after he was photographed on a morning stroll with former Finance Minister Trevor Manuel at the Sea Point promenade hours after Jacob Zuma's resignation.
