With the news that Day Zero has been pushed back again, this week's Wednesday Water Files look at how businesses can continue to operate during the water crisis.
On Tuesday the City of Cape Town announced that water saving efforts had led to Day Zero being pushed back by almost a month, from 4 June to 9 July.
Water Stewardship Programme Manager at WWF South Africa, Klaudia Schachtschneider says businesses must communicate with staff to ensure that everyone is pulling towards a similar goal.
She says employees need to be kept in the loop so they can be prepared for the taps being turned off.

Are we able to deal with the punitive tariffs? How are we actually going to deal with all of this? Schachtschneider says for the sake of the economy, managers and owners need to ensure they have a clear Business Continuity Plan.
