[LISTEN] Pravin Gordhan reacts to his appointment as Public Enterprises minister

Former finance minister Pravin Gordhan will be sworn in as Public Enterprises Minister on Tuesday.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced his new Cabinet at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Monday night.

Gordhan spoke to 702's Karima Brown to share his reaction to the appointment.

The state owned enterprises are a crucial part of our economy, our fiscal system and the extent that they do well is the extent to which they contribute to the development and economic well being of South Africa.
