Gen Shadrack Sibiya says twitter account an attempt to derail investigations

Head of the City of Joburg's forensic department, General Shadrack Sibiya, has poured cold water on a "fake" Twitter account that implicates the former top cop in corruption and helping to protect Senzo Meyiwa's killers.

This account also claims that Sibiya - the former head of Gauteng Hawks - has been on the payroll of Radovan Krejcir.

Speaking to Bongani Bingwa, Sibiya said the person running this account is not a civilian but someone privy to crime intelligence info or possibly a member of police.

Why now and why me? I've never been part of the Senzo Meyiwa investigation. I was the first person to arrest Krejcir three times.
