[LISTEN] Bongani Bingwa questions if Mabuza was ever properly investigated

The latest cabinet reshuffle late on Monday night by President Cyril Ramaphosa saw David Mabuza being elected as deputy president of the Republic of South Africa.

This raised alarm bells as Mabuza has a chequered history as Mpumalanga premier when claims emerged that he used poison to kill those who opposed him.

702's Breakfast Show host, Bongani Bingwa, reflects on allegations against Mabuza asking how did he manage to get security clearance with all these allegations swirling around him.

How can he get a security clearance and were the allegations against him properly investigated? If Crime Intelligence Security were doing their job and not affected by politics, might allegations against Mabuza been investigated differently...

Bongani Bingwa, 702's Breakfast Show host

It seems from the allegations that we've heard that poison seems to be the preferred methodology, if those allegations are true.

Bongani Bingwa, 702's Breakfast Show host

Bongani Bingwa, 702's Breakfast Show host

Bingwa also hinted at what seems to be a sworn affidavit that is making the rounds on social media implicating Mabuza in crimes in Mpumalanga. See below:
