EFF, DA and FF+ boycott Magashule's state of the province address

There has been increased opposition to African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general‚ Ace Magashule's hold over his position as Free State premier.

On Tuesday, the Democratic Alliance (DA) , Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and Freedom Front Plus in the Free State legislature, boycotted Magashule's state of the province address in Parys.

Last week the DA in the Free State filed an urgent application to get Provincial Legislature Speaker, Mamiki Qabathe to table a motion of no confidence against the premier, citing his alleged involvement in the controversial Vrede dairy project.
