class action lawsuit
Bruce Whitfield interviews human rights lawyer Richard Spoor, who is urging families of victims to join his lawsuit.

Human rights lawyer Richard Spoor wants families of the victims of the listeriosis outbreak to join a class action lawsuit he is launching against Tiger Brands.

Spoor says there is overwhelming evidence that contamination happened at the company’s factory.

Proving causation, he says, is the challenge.

Tiger Brands denies responsibility for the largest listeriosis outbreak the world has ever seen, which claimed 180 lives.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Spoor.

Listen to the interview in the audio below (and/or scroll down for quotes from it).

We are certainly going to be fighting this matter for the next several years.

Richard Spoor

There’s a really strong case… The daddy of this outbreak came from the Enterprises factory…

Richard Spoor

Anybody who has suffered harm… is entitled to participate in this class action… and to benefit from the outcome.

Richard Spoor
