It seems Tom Moyane has changed his mind about challenging his suspension, says the Financial Mail's Sikonathi Mantshantsha.

It seem that suspended Sars Commissioner Tom Moyane may have changed his mind about challenging his suspension.

On Sunday, Ramaphosa gave Moyane an opportunity to resign, and when he refused the President placed him on immediate suspension.

Moyane then wrote to Ramaphosa, threatening to approach the courts if the suspension is not revoked by 9:30pm on Sunday.

Read Tom Moyane's letter to the President below:

He told Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday night , "please give me a letter committing that you will stop this nonsense by 9:30 otherwise I am going to court."

Needless to say Cyril Ramaphosa went ahead and suspended him on Monday morning and we are still waiting for Tom Moyane to interdict the President against his suspension.
