One of Cape Town's most iconic race events will take place this weekend.
The Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon will go down on Saturday 31 March 2018, starting at 06:30.
General Manager at Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon, Carol Vosloo, says the race event has gone off the municipal water grid.
She explains that all the race water for the event has been collected from the Newlands Spring, as the city grapples with a water crisis.
Vosloo spoke about the marathon, its history and other beautiful stories.
