Schools 'under siege' from learners says Education MEC

Schools in Gauteng are losing good teachers because of learners unruly behaviour.

Speaking to Bongani Bingwa on the Breakfast Show, Lesufi says to date, they have suspended 151 learners for misconduct.

What unfortunately harmed the education system is that when you expel one learner from one school you are compelled by law to place that learner in another school.
