The ongoing loadshedding is inconvenient for South Africans in many ways, one of which is food in the fridge thawing and going off. The #WeekendBreakfast duo pick up tips on how to preserve your food:
1. Keep your meats refrigerated, buy meat in small quantities
- Micro-organisms can mutate really fast - avoid over-purchase of perishable food items
- Keep the fridge doors closed while the power is out
