Can you help save performing arts centre in CT?

A non-profit organisation for children based in Hout Bay, Amoyo is on the brink of closure due to financial issues.

This means that about 175 children registered there will soon have no safe place to go after school.

Since 2015, the NGO has been helping the children of Hout Bay with performing arts training and life skills development to help them become responsible adults, free from drugs and gansterism.

Founder at Amoyo Performing Arts Foundation, Kim Worrall, says the organisation is making a huge impact in the community and would like to build a sustainable foundation to help these children.

Our big term goal is that in the next 5 years we want to have our own perfoming arts facility and training centre. That will help us to become self sufficient because we can rent out to other companies, do events and make it into a hub in Hout Bay

Kim Worrall, Founder at Amoyo Performing Arts Foundation

The organisation needs financial support to accomplish their goals and continue supporting the Hout Bay community.
