Nehawu calls for DAFF management overhaul after claims of bribery and corruption

The National Health Education and Allied Workers Union (Nehawu) has sent a letter to Parliament on a report compiled on alleged corruption about the Minister of Agriculture‚ Forestry and Fisheries, Senzeni Zokwana.

Speaking to Bongani Bingwa on the breakfast show, Nehawu's Timothy Mathibela says they face a major challenge.

Mathibela says after allegations of abalone stolen from the stories and bribes paid, they have written to the President of South Africa asking him to remove the management of the department involved in the abalone scandal. He further says the Hawks have been working very slowly in resolving this matter.

Bongani Bingwa replied that he would try to get Minister Zokwana to respond and give clarity on the matter.
