#TimeOut with Stoan Seate

One fourth of South African legendary music group, Bongo Muffin, musician and actor, Stoan Seate was Udo Carelse’s guest on Sports Talk yesterday.

Here are some of the things we found out about him:

He played inter-provincial Squash (often playing against DJ Fistaz) for Mmabatho High School. He also played basketball, table tennis, rugby, soccer in high school. He admittedly says he wasn’t a strong player – though he says he ‘kills it’ on Playstation’s Fifa game. He now takes part in sport for a good cause.

He recently cycled over 350 km from Joburg to his hometown, Maftown (Mafikeng) to celebrate his 40th birthday and 20 years in the music industry, as well as give back to disadvantaged schools in the Maftown area. He is also a Kaizer Chiefs fan and has quite a bit to say about the Chiefs team management.
