SuperSport has issued a statement saying a preliminary investigation is underway about the incident that led Ashwin Willemse to walk off the live rugby broadcast set.

The spokesperson for the minister of Sports, Vuyo Mhaga says that he hopes the investigation will reveal more details about the incident.
