In this segment of South Africans Doing Great Things, we chat to Neseera Mohamed on her initiative called Project Hygiene.
Mohamed says that the initiative started out as a discussion between two friends. She adds that in 2014, she decided to go for it with her friend Natheefah Maroof.
In the hopes of providing basic hygiene to the less fortunate, we decided that this is the way to go says Mohamed.
In the beginning we decided that we wanted to do something good and give back but we always knew that we wanted to do something around hygiene.— Neseera Mohamed, co-founder of project hygiene
Mohamed says that they cater for all demographics because their aim is to provide basic hygiene to those that need it most.
