Former Bafana Bafana captain, Lucas Radebe says the introduction of Video Assistant Referees (VAR) in football is a great initiative and will assist in providing fair play.
Speaking with Azania Mosaka about the history of football, Radebe says he believes that the countries representing Africa will do well.
We have great nations that are representing Africa. I think Egypt and Senegal are great teams, they have done absolutely well. They have great players who are playing abroad who have a lot of experience.— Lucas Radebe, History of Football Ambassador
He says technology has come into the game and it will play a bigger role from now going forward.
I really like the idea of VAR for a fair play. I hope it is not going to take out of the game because the game cant be stopped for too long, the momentum is very important.— Lucas Radebe, History of Football Ambassador
