The African National Congress (ANC) national executive committee has raised concern over the state of manipulates.
It says municipalities are regressing and that the consequences for will be dire.
African National Congress Secretary General Ace Magashule, on Tuesday, briefed media on the outcomes of the party's NEC meeting.
Magashule was addressing the media saying the party wants to go back to its 'back to basics' campaign. He pushed further to say the state of municipalities is regressing as seen in the auditor general's report. He says this time around there will be consequences, it is not all talk.— Qaanitha Hunter, Eyewitness News reporter
The NEC has also discussed a report on the nationalisation of the reserve bank, economic recovery and the land issue.
Hunter says the party is pushing for the implementation of these and other resolutions.
The party says they are ready to start implementing and rolling out the decisions of the Nasrec conference, they have started off with land. In principle that has been agreed to.— Qaanitha Hunter, Eyewitness News reporter
On the nationalisation of the Reserve Bank, they say they want do it the same way they dealt with the land question, - where they brought together different voices from different sectors to come and way in on this particular matter.— Qaanitha Hunter, Eyewitness News reporter
