Bongani Bingwa advises EFF's Floyd Shivambu to leave Ismail Momoniat alone, saying they are in different 'leagues'.

Treasury's deputy director-general Ismail Momoniat appears not to have taken to heart recent comments made about him by EFF chief whip Floyd Shivambu.

Momoniat was invited for an interview on 702's Breakfast Show with Bongani Bingwa but declined, saying he preferred to talk about public service and the low growth of the economy instead of Shivambu's remarks.

On Tuesday Shivambu attacked Momoniat accusing him of being un-African

Addressing Shivambu, Bingwa effectively told the EFF member to stick to battles he can win.

Ismail Momoniat holds an MSc in Economics from the University of London, a BA Hons in Economics from UNISA, an MSc in Maths from Wits, Bsc Hons in Maths from Wits as well as a BSc from Wits.

Stick to the Collin Maine's or Baba ka Duduzane and leave this servant of the people alone Floyd Shivambu, you are simply not in the same league.
