'There seems to be unity ahead of the KZN ANC elective conference'

It seems it's all systems go for the KwaZulu-Natal ANC elective conference despite some members heading to the courts to stop the conference.

Political analyst Sinethemba Zonke says there seems to be some kind of unity going into the conference from candidates who have been at loggerheads since the original conference was disallowed by the courts last year.

Sihle Zikalala is going into this conference uncontested and he will be standing in as leader.

With key people who want to stop the conference, there is obviously still a lot of grievances amongst many people in KZN.

I don't believe this court action will stop the conference but it does really put pressure on the ANC in solving the issues in KZN where it has become volatile and violent.
