Eyewitness News (EWN) has revealed that Police Minister Bheki Cele has advised Ipid head Robert McBride to reverse any decision taken against now suspended principle investigator Cedrick Nkabinde.
In a letter seen by EWN, Cele urged McBride to any imminent decision taken against Nkabinde - including his recent suspension.
The minister also informed McBride that an investigation would be launched into recent allegations made against him.
Nkabinde has accused McBride of unlawful and unethical conduct.
