Van Reenen's Pass blocked by trucks on the N3
Truck drivers have blocked the N3 highway at Van Reenen's Pass causing traffic chaos.
The highway has been closed off to traffic so avoid that area if you are going that way.
Con Roux, the Commercial Manager at the N3 Toll Concession, says the initial blockade took place before seven in the morning.
He says the blockaded is a result of a truck driver protest against the employment of foreign nationals.

The carriageway consists of four lanes, two in each direction was blockaded off and no one was able to go pass in either direction.Con Roux, Commercial Manager at the N3 Toll Concession
Roux adds that the situation is still the same.
