Financial advisor Warren Ingram rubbishes some popular, yet blatantly untrue ideas that are keeping people from growing wealthy.

You may believe investing in the stock market is risky.

You may be certain that, for example, it’s safer to put your money in the bank.

Problem is, believing something does not make it real.

Mike Wills (in for Bruce Whitfield on The Money Show) interviewed Galileo Capital Personal Financial Advisor Warren Ingram.

Ingram debunked some of the most widely held, yet patently false investing myths:

  • It’s too late to start; I’ve missed the opportunity to benefit from compound interest.

  • I can time the market.

  • What worked for your friend/wife/colleague will work for you.

  • Last year’s top performer is a safe bet this year.

  • Putting your money in the bank is safe.

For more detail; listen to the YouTube clip below.
