Film critic Gayle Edmunds shares her views of the film ‘Book Club’, and chats about some of her favourite scenes from the movie.
Edmunds says that there are a lot of funny lines in the movie.
It’s unusual to laugh out loud at movies but I laughed a lot throughout the film says Edmunds.
She adds that the movie is about four lifelong friends that take a liking to the infamous Fifty Shades of Grey erotic romance novel.
Edmunds says that the movie is hilarious and she enjoyed it thoroughly.
The main protagonists in the movie include the recently widowed Diane (Diane Keaton). The 81 year old, no strings attached hotel owner Vivian (Jane Fonda).
Sharon (Candice Bergen) who’s still working through a decades-old divorce, and the still married but facing a slumped relationship Carol (Mary Steenburgen).
Edmunds says that in Hollywood, you normally have older men with younger women but this movie is nothing like that.
