News that a woman who had been declared dead but later woke up in a morgue in Gauteng made international headlines this week.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a car crash but later showed signs of life while at the mortuary.
Understandably, questions have been asked as to how such a thing could have happened.

The woman is said to be recovering in hospital and an investigation is being carried out by the ambulance service.
