[LISTEN] Is Zuma being used to sow division in KZN's Musa Dladla region?

Eyewitness News Senior reporter Ziyanda Ngcobo says rumors that previous leaders within the African National Congress (ANC) Musa Dladla region are using President Jacob Zuma to sow division and defy its newly elected leadership may be loose talk.

The Business Day recently ran a report saying a probe has been launched into the rumors.

Ngcobo joined Karima Brown to unpack the story.

Musa Dladla is a very interesting region because that is where the former president comes from but that is also where Senzo Mchunu comes from and on that regional executive committee is his wife and so that gives an interesting dynamic to the story.

Ziyanda Ngcobo, Eyewitness News senior reporter

Musa Dladla still hasn't reelected a new leadership and so for me at the stage, I think it is just loose talk but what people are trying to do is to make it gain momentum from other regions so that it does become an issue that he ANC cannot avoid discussing.
