The ANC and its allies, the South African Communist Party (SACP), Cosatu and the South African National Civics Organisation gave feedback on the outcomes of its meeting over the weekend.

Policy specialist and lecturer at North-West University, Kagiso Pooe, says beyond the elections he doesn't see what they have in common.

In a practical point, they cannot dump former President Jabob Zuma. One of the ANC's major growth areas in the last elections was actually KZN.
