NPA awaits communication from NDPP on Jiba's return to work

The National Prosecuting Authority says after the court ruling to reinstate Nomgcobo Jiba and Lawrence Mrwebi on the advocates roll there is nothing preventing them from executing their responsibilities at the NPA.

On Tuesday a court in Bloemfontein upheld Jiba's appeal against a High Court ruling which struck her and Mrwebi from the roll of advocates.

They would engage with the NDPP and once that has happened they will advise us on a way forward.

When they were placed on special leave they engaged with the employer representative that is the National Director and came to that conclusion.
