Outgoing Cape Town mayor Patricia de Lille says she is not done with some members of the DA after they dragged her name through the mud.

De Lille has agreed to step down from her post as mayor at the end of October after various public and court battles with the party.

I've got a number of civil litigation cases lined up because people have smeared my name in public without any shred of evidence.

The list of those I'm going after is standing at 12 now, it includes two Members of Parliament who doctored the report of the Auditor-General.

Meanwhile, Second Deputy Federal Chairperson in the Democratic Alliance Natasha Mazzone says despite the DA withdrawing all internal investigation against De Lille, the City will still conduct its own investigations.

All investigations led by the City are not covered by the agreement and will continue because we are a party that prides itself on clean governance.
