Taxi strike called off and buses fully functional

Golden Arrow bus services has confirmed that the busses are fully functional after a taxi strike that affected its operations on Tuesday leaving thousands of commuters stranded.

The bus company's spokesperson Bronwen Dyke-Beyer says busses are back on the road, operating as per normal.

The strike was called off on Monday night after the ANC's intervention. Taxi operators were demanding that a pre-election conference is held to pave way for taxi industry leadership election.

I am very happy to say that we are fully functional and everything is operating as per normal and going very well.
