Academic and Professional Staff Association (Apsa) has accused transport minister Blade Nzimande of corruption and has threatened to lay criminal charges against him and individuals close to him.
Apsa wants the minister probed for allegations relating to his tenure when he was the Minister of Higher Education. They allege that he used his position to appoint friends, cronies and relatives to head influential entities.

Apsa says it will be approaching the of Higher Education and also go to the commission of state capture.
