'The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society film will leave you hooked'

In the movie feature, film reviewer Gayle Edmunds chats about 'The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society' film, and what movie-goers can expect.

Edmunds says that the film is very delightful to watch, and beautiful to look at.

Lily James, who we recently saw in Mamma Mia 2, is the lead character Juliet says Edmunds.

She adds that Juliet is a young writer in post-war London (1946).

She's about to go on tour with her latest book until she gets a letter from a farmer, asking her to send another book says Edmunds.

She adds that the farmer tells Juliet about his literacy society, and how it's a cover.

She decides to head out there to see this crew, this literary society, and find out more about them and write about them.

Edmunds says that it's not a fast-paced movie, but it keeps you hooked.
