'SIU investigation into the State Attorney will also look at structural flaws'

President Cyril Ramaphosa signed off a proclamation in July to investigate the office of the State Attorney after various complaints were filed.

Among the allegations are that officials are colluding with private law firms to defraud the state of millions of rand.

Minister of Justice Michael Masutha has promised that the Special Investigating Unit will conduct the widest raging investigation it has ever done.
