Coal shortages and industrial action add to Eskom's woes, Parly told
Eskom says it's worried about small coal stockpiles.
The power utility says it is facing coal challenges due to a lack of investment in its coal-supplying mines, reports EWN's Lindsay Dentlinger.
Eskom adds that protracted industrial action has also affected the parastatal.
The utility briefed a joint meeting of Parliament’s Energy and Public Enterprises committees on governance challenges at the beleaguered parastatal.
CEO Phakamani Hadebe said it would take at least two years to try and turn Eskom around.
