The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Kasumba, asking her to give a summary of her stay in Port Harcourt (population 1.8 million) in Nigeria’s oil-rich Rivers State.

Kasumba spoke of her meetings with the Minister of Economics and some local businesspeople.

She touched on agriculture, an industry larger than the oil sector, according to Steve Azaiki (Coordinator of National Think Tank Nigeria), whom she met.

Lastly, she spent some time on the set of a Nollywood movie and had a chat with Godwin Uche Precious, the Head of the Magicbrush International Film School.

Listen to the interview in the audio below (and/or scroll down for quotes from it).

Port Harcourt is extremely lush…

Lee Kasumba

You see a lot of Spars and other international brands… because it’s resource-rich.

Lee Kasumba

I was blown away by Nollywood… its managed to put ‘Brand Nigeria’ out there… it’s the second largest employer in Nigeria.
