SA's oldest tennis player needs help getting to Croatian competition

76-year-old Garnett Wicomb has been selected to represent South Africa at an international tennis tournament in Croatia.

Wicomb, a well-known journalist, is also the country's number one senior's player.

Speaking to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies, Wicomb says he is looking forward to playing tennis in Croatia and is very happy that he has been chosen.

Although he was selected to take part, he still has to foot the bill. He needs funds to pay for his accommodation in Croatia.
