LISTERIOSIS UPDATE: 'Tiger will agree to a class action'

Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi has announced that there is no longer a listeria outbreak in South Africa.

The minister says for three months, there has not been a case of listeriosis recorded.

Chief Executive Officer at Richard Spoor Inc, Richard Spoor, is filing a class action lawsuit against Tiger brands for the deaths of those killed by listeriosis.

We have filed an application in the High Court in Johannesburg to certify a class action on behalf of the victims.

Tiger has noted an application to that application but we have been in discussion and we have an agreement that Tiger will agree to a class action.
